Skies are starting to clear some now west of I-65 in Alabama, and I think you will soon see an increase in precipitation over western sections of the state and eventually statewide.
It should be another stormy afternoon and overnight across Central Alabama. A flash flood watch is in effect for much of Central and Northwest Alabama.
Be ready for the potential for storms to dump very heavy rainfall in a short period time, with the attendant runoff problems.
Remember, turn around…don’t drown! Don’t walk or drive into standing or flowing water.
