Sasha, the well-known dog belonging to Dave and Denise Echols that came up missing in Leeds on May 24 was found this morning and she is alive and well.
The family is overjoyed–to say the least!
Sasha was spotted by a keen observer on the side of the road in Leeds this morning. Dave said that the pads of her feet were raw or sore from so much walking, otherwise a vet confirmed that she was in great shape.
She had lost 11 pounds.
Dave called a few minutes ago to report that they were on the way home with Sasha now. He wanted to thank everyone for their concerns and help and he appreciated this blog for diverting from weather subjects to post information about her–especially thanks to James Spann for permitting it. .
I, for one, am a dog lover and I feel almost as elated as Dave and Denise!! Life goes on…..
