Severe thunderstorms with large hail continue moving east/southeast across North and Central Alabama this evening… a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 10:00 p.m. Storms will weaken over the next few hours… scroll down for all the NWS warnings…

An upper-level ridge to our west and surface high pressure to the northeast will keep Alabama dry and slightly cooler this weekend. As we head into the week, the ridge will spread further into the state, warming us some and keeping rain chances at bay. Continue reading
