Speaking to our friends in Lamar and northern Pickens…
The storm that had produced widespread tornado damage across the Mississippi Delta is a little more than an hour from reaching northern Pickens and Lamar Counties.
Now is the time to move to a safe structure if you live in a mobile home or don’t feel good about the safety of the building or site built home you are in. Call a friend or neighbor, or go to a substantial building.
Fayette/Walker and northern Tuscaloosa Counties need to be especially alert as well.
