At 3:35, the Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Talladega County, mainly the extreme southern part now since the storm has moved down into the southern part of the county. It was located in the general vicinity of Sylacauga and continued to move toward the SW. Moments ago, the EMA Director in Talladega County, reported nickel-size hail in that storm. The storm was actually growing stronger and the NWS is thinking of issuing a warning for Coosa County any minute.
We will keep you updated.
That is not the only thunderstorm in the state. Scattered ones were going on other parts of North and Central Alabama, but so far no Severe Thunderstorm Watch.
