Thunderstorms have quickly grown stronger near the Alabama/Tennessee border.

The NWS/Huntsville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 3:15 for Jackson and Madison County in NE Alabama due to southeast-moving storms moving out of Tennessee.

Further south a strong to severe thunderstorm was located over East Lawrence County. For that, the NWS issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for SE Lawrence and West Morgan County until 3:15. The severe thunderstorm was 10 miles east of Moulton and moving SE.

Meanwhile, across the rest of North/Central and Central Alabama, there were very few showers or storms. Over the extreme south part of the state, the showers and storms were more numerous and producing locally heavy rain.
