Scattered showers and thunderstorms were developing over Northeast Alabama at mid-day. Most of them were from Calhoun County northward through Cherokee County to Dekalb County.

Another way to describe the location–roughly from Anniston to Fort Payne. They extend into NW Georgia and they were moving steadily eastward.

West to east will be the favored track of today’s showers and thunderstorms.

They will be increasing in number as the afternoon goes on and developing also in other parts of the state.
