Very little going on, weatherwise, at midday across Alabama. A few scattered showers moved into Extreme West Alabama during the last hour or so. They are scattered from Franklin and Marion County in the NW southward to near Livingston. Movement is toward the east.
We should mention that not much of that is reaching the ground. The lower levels of the atmosphere over Alabama is still very dry.
We are still subject to a few showers this afternoon and tonight and extending into Tuesday morning.
It appears that our main chance of showers (and some thunderstorms) will be Saturday and Saturday night, into Sunday morning. That could change as we will be able to better determine the timing later.
