No warnings as of 6:35… but all of the storms that are in progress contain lots of lightning, very heavy rain, and gusty winds. Storms are moving only slowly to the east/northeast.

The upper-level ridge to our west and surface high pressure to our east keep Alabama mild and dry again today. The ridge will move eastward throughout the week allowing for a slowing warming trend to occur, but rain will stay out of the forecast. Continue reading

An upper-level ridge to our west and surface high pressure to the northeast will keep Alabama dry and slightly cooler this weekend. As we head into the week, the ridge will spread further into the state, warming us some and keeping rain chances at bay. Continue reading
