Thunderstorms were few and miles and miles between this afternoon, especially over the north half of the state.

There were a few along the Clay-Randolph County line in East Central Alabama. Overall, they have diminished in that part of the state.

The better distribution of showers and storms (but still widely spaced) was from Sumter and Choctaw County in West Alabama SE to near Andalusia in far South Central Alabama.

Lightning activity relatively low.

General movement toward the SE.
