97 in BHM at 3 pm. A few isolated thunderstorms over Alabama this afternoon, but most spots won’t get wet at all, and most that do won’t get more than 0.25″. The one nice thing is that the storms often produce cool outflow from rain evaporation. It can travel more than 10 miles from the storm, providing a cooler breeze. Notice the fine line moving west near Clanton, south of the radar site. That is a cool outflow, and the radar is picking it up by either the dust it is kicking up or clouds.

Severe thunderstorm warning extreme SW Alabama just north of Mobile.
