My name is Tom Denmark. We moved here (Greystone Farms) a year ago from New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina.
I enjoy reading your blog every day as well as your weather broadcast on television. I have always been a weather buff and particularly like the winter season. It has been a long tradition for me to make icicles with a sprinkler on very cold nights. Needless to say, we have had many more opportunities in Birmingham than we did in New Orleans.
My kids really got a kick out of it as they were growing up and now I do it for my granddaughter (it’s a good excuse, because I am probably the biggest kid of the bunch). I have attached a few photos that were taken yesterday-Thursday Feb 15. I hope you like them. That is my granddaughter, Casey, in the last picture. Thanks again for your great blog and God Bless You,
