The band of heavy rain and storms over West Central and Northwest Alabama from Pickens through Fayette into Marion, Winston and NW Walker County is expanding and getting heavier, as we feared.
A flash flood warning remains in effect for Lamar County as well as for Lawrence County. Look for more warnings. If you are underneath this band, expect training showers and storms to dump heavy rain for at least the next couple of hours.
