A beautiful dusting of snow here in Trussville early on this Saturday morning. It’s a scene repeated across parts of North Central Alabama as an upper level disturbance and wave of low pressure in the northern Gulf have conspired to produce an early season snowfall from Southeast Texas to Alabama.
The event is winding down now across Alabama. Just those patches of light snow left on the radar image above.
Snap your pictures early this morning, because the sun will take our snowy scenes away fairly quickly. Highs today will be limited to the 40s however with a brisk north wind keeping the mercury in check.
Heading for a J.B. power nap. Will be back for late reports and an update of the forecast. Oh, isn’t there a football game in Atlanta this afternoon?
