At 11:30 am, most of the showers already over Georgia. Virtually no showers North and West Alabama.
A few showers near Montgomery and over Extreme SW Alabama. No heavy showers.
Only thunder heard so far today was man-made from the sonic boom when the space shuttle was heading in for a landing in Florida. Most of the “thunder” was between about 7:50 and 8:05 or so.
Still looks like Saturday + Saturday night will be our most active weather.
