Is this June or March?
A powerful low pressure area was centered over Wyoming. It will move toward the NE. It, along with other things mixed in the weather pie, will trigger an outbreak of severe weather today especially in the Dakotas, Western Minnesota and NE Nebraska where an enhanced “moderate risk” is posted.
But over on the western side of that low, it is a different storm. Much colder air is pouring southward and strong winds are occurring over a wide area.
