FLOODING REPORTED…One foot of water across Highway 18 in Vernon…hiways 17 and 18 both flooded in Vernon…worst of the storm east of Vernon now…but be careful and try not to drive until waters reced…downstream:storms south of Columbus up to Macedonia will clip SE part of County heading toward Belk and into Fayette County…worst may be over for Lamar County.

The severe thunderstorm warning has expired…but the flash flood warning continues…also strong storm starting to bow out from southwest of Vernon to Millport,,,will head toward Belk…increasing chance of high winds…good chance of hail…to jawbreaker size.
