Scattered showers continue mainly over the north 2/3 of Alabama late this afternoon.
Actually it is more like patches of light rain than the showery type weather. The rain was a bit more extensive over NW Alabama and across the Tennessee Valley.
No thunderstorms. Nearest lightning was west of Savannah and down across North Florida.
A discombobulated (ill-defined) low pressure area was over NW Alabama.
The precipitation will continue to thin out as the evening goes on and most will be outta here after midnight.
Look for some dry and warmer weather Wednesday with highs in the low 70s across Central Alabama.
