Showers were located in the following places late this afternoon:
* Along the Calhoun-Cleburne County line in Extreme East Alabama
* Over North Clay County
* Over Chambers County
* Small shower along the Marengo-Hale County line in West Alabama
By far the largest (and heaviest shower) was over Chambers County. Heavy rain indicated near Lafayette.
All are moving tord the ESE.
We are still watching closely a line of strong thunderstorms along the Louisiana-Mississippi border moving eastward. Those storms should diminish greatly by the time they reach Alabama but we will watch them just the same.
