At 5:15 this afternoon, a curved line of showers and thunderstorms down in Central Alabama extends in an irregular curved fashion generally from Marion to Clanton to Sylacauga to Ashland. I am sure you get mental picture perfectly!
Some of the line is creeping toward the east, but, overall movement is ever so slowly toward the north. The heaviest rain was over SW Talladega County west of Sylacauga.
Down in South Alabama some stronger thunderstorms were over Monroe and Butler County.
