A broken line of thunderstorms lined up north to south near the Mississippi/Alabama border was moving into West Alabama. At 4:45 pm, the line extended from Lauderdale County in Extreme NW Alabama southward to near Meridian.
Movement was toward the east.
Interesting that a different line of storms extended from East Central Mississippi to SW Mississippi. That line was moving NW. Some of the stronger storms were midway between Jackson and Meridian.
We are subject to scattered showers and thunderstorms through the evening and some may still be around at midnight.
