Scattered showers and several thunderstorms moved into Northwest Alabama late this afternoon from Northeast Mississippi.
They were moving almost due east.
At 4:40 pm, the main ones were across South Franklin County eastward into Lawrence County…or roughly from about Russellville east to Moulton.
Other storms over Northeast Mississippi will move east between Tupelo and Columbus and into Northwest Alabama’s North Lamar and Marion County.
ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Joshua Vest earlier reported a “nice thunderstorm here in Red Bay north of Hamilton.
These storms are not widespread but some folks are getting some beneficial rain–although not long-lasting.
Bet they are dancing in the streets!
