Showers were increasing late this afternoon over parts of Central and West Central Alabama
This included a short line of heavy showers and even siome lightning from Extreme SW Jefferson County through Extreme SW Shelby County and southward along the Bibb/Chilton County line.
Other separate scattered showers were in progress across Central Jefferson County including the Birmingham area.
Several others were over Pickens and Fayette County.
Slow movement toward the ENE.
