The group of showers and some thunderstorms that developed over NW Alabama this afternoon, enhanced by cold air aloft not as strong.
At 5:45, they were scattered across mainly Lamar, Fayette and Tuscaloosa County.

Meanwhile, over on the other side of the state almost all of the showers and storms had moved into Georgia.
Will the good soaking for a good percentage of Alabama today help the autumn color to be more enhanced?
