Most of the north half of Alabama was free of showers late this afternoon. There were a few isolated ones over Tuscaloosa, Jefferson and Shelby County.

At 4:40 pm, a line of showers and thunderstorms continued to work its was northward through South and Southwest Alabama.

The main ones extended from north of Livingston to near Demopolis, Camden, Greenville and Troy.

Movement toward the NNW but not very fast.

If the line of showers/storms holds up, Demopolis will continue to get some good rain and it will later reach Selma and Hayneville.
