Quite a difference in our weather today as compared to Sunday when there were widespread showers and thunderstorms and a lot of heavy rain.

Late this morning there were no showers in progress anywhere in Alabama. In fact, the nearest ones were over near the coast of Georgia and South Carolina and moving away. Looking west of Alabama, we have to go all the way to the Texas Panhandle to find some showers and thunderstorms in progress.

That does not mean that we are home free for the entire day. We could see a few showers or thunderstorms later this afternoon. However, dry weather returns Tuesday and the humidity will be dropping Tuesday and Wednesday.
