Some moderate to heavy rain was over Extreme North Alabama earlier, mainly along and north of the Tennessee River.
However, at 10 pm, the heaviest rain was still over Mississippi and East Louisiana. There was considerable lightning over South Louisiana and extending southward over the North Gulf of Mexico.

In Southwest Alabama, only three counties:

Washington
24 South Mississippi counties are included.
At least three damage reports so far from South Louisiana.
ALABAMA OVERNIGHT
No risk of severe weather over North and Central Alabama. However, rain will gradually become more extensive later tonight and Friday morning.
