A cluster of showers and a few thunderstorms over NE Mississippi may give a few communities in Extreme NW Alabama a bit of measurable rain in the next hour or so.

Shortly after 11 pm, the showers were located from near Columbus northward to north of Tupelo. They were moving toward the NNE.

Lightning activity has decreased and the showers are slowly diminishing. However, parts of Lamar, Marion and Franklin County, in NW Alabama, may get some measurable rain.

Every little bit helps.

Every drop is welcome.

It is bone dry.
