A long line of showers and thunderstorms extended from NW Alabama through Central Mississippi into SE Louisiana at 10:45 tonight. In Alabama, most of the showers were from near Decatur SW across Winston and Pickens Counties into Mississippi.
The broad line was moving eastward, while individual showers and storms were moving NE.
By far, the strongest thunderstorms were over SE Louisiana.
Still no watch or warning for any location in Alabama. It will likely be after midnight before much of the rain gets into the Birmingham area.
While we are still under a slight risk for severe weather for the remainder of tonight and part of Thursday, it still does not look like a major threat. However, we will watch it throughout the night.
