Late night showers and thunderstorms were beginning to diminish, in both number and strength across Alabama, but ever so slowly.

At 11:15 pm, it was still pouring rain in NW Alabama mainly in these areas:

….West and North Walker County
….East Marion County
….South Winston County

Movement was slowly northward. We will likely hear of some big rain totals in that part of Alabama when all of the reports are in tomorrow morning.

Elsewhere at 11:15, moderate to heavy showers over Central and North St. Clair County were headed NE toward Gadsden and Etowah County.

Down south there were scattered moderate to heavy showers across Central and South Alabama but not as many as earlier tonight.

Unless something unexpected happens, this will probably be our last update until early morning.

Tomorrow is 9/11 and a very appropriate day to pray for our country and to be ever so thankful that we live in the Good Ole USA! No place like it! (including Havana Junction)
