Scattered light precipitation developed over about the northern third of Alabama this morning.
Mike Wilhelm, 3340 Skywatcher in Vinemont, reported some light freezing rain this morning driving to work from Vinemont (North Cullman County) to Decatur. It froze on his windshield for a time.
At 9:20 am, most of it was from about Franklin, Cullman and Etowah County southward to Jefferson County. It was moving SE rather quickly.
Much of it probably not reaching the ground.
At 9 am, Birmingham Airport was reporting 36 degrees and light sleet.
Not to worry…not enough to cause any problems
32 degrees at 9 am in both Gadsden and Decatur.
