The tornado warning for Fayette and Marion Counties has been canceled.
The parent storm appears to be weakening. A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for Marion and Winston Counties.
Additional storms are lined up to the southwest of this one and will move into western Alabama over the next couple of hours.
FLOODING NOTE
Serious flooding going on in the Birmingham metro area, including the Clay area and the Fairfield area. A flash flood warning remains in effect for Jefferson County.
