Thanks to Janet Hall for this image… she writes:

“My husband took this picture as I was driving on 280. We had just past 119, and were almost to Hugh Daniels.

The column of rain caught our attention as we were coming from Valleydale, and as we got closer we notice that at the very top of the column was this rainbow. However this rainbow was only visible around the column…making it look like it was circling the column like a halo, instead of in the normal n shape. As we drove on, passing the column, the left side of the rainbow fell, and eventually made it start looking like a normal rainbow. But the right side never dropped, and instead it kept up the appearance of wrapping around the column of rain. It was very funky!”
