A Long line of thunderstorms, producing heavy rain, at mid-afternoon extended all the way from Hattiesburg, in SE Mississippi to Demopolis in West Alabama to east of Anniston and NW of Atlanta. The heaviest storms now well east of Birmingham.
Lots of heavy rain today including as much as five inches in parts of Walker County.
The Tuscaloosa area still some scattered light rain but most the significant rain was east of the city permitting a mostly rainless but cloudy Alabama-Arkansas game.
Looks like Auburn will not be so lucky with a good chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the Auburn-Ball State game tonight.
