The main showers and thunderstorms at 3 o’clock this afternoon were from just north of Birmingham northward to Huntsville and northeastward into Etowah County.
A strong thunderstorm was over north and NE Etowah County especially north and NE of the Gadsden area. The Black Creek area should be getting heavy rain and dangerous lightning.

Storms in the affected areas may have strong winds over 40 with very heavy rain and dangerous lightning. The storms were moving SE.
ABC 3340 Skywatcher reports heavy rain for a time in South Gadsden with some “decent lightning.”
