Leading edge of heavier showers (maybe a few thunderstorms now over in East and Central Alabama near these locations:
Scottsboro
Fort Payne
Talladega
Rockford
West of Montgomery
Almost no lightning over North and Central Alabama.
Not so down in SW Alabama
Strong storms Mobile and Baldwin County over into the Pensacola area.
The storms also spread out into a moderate to heavy rain area from west of Montgomery westward to Wilcox County.
SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK
Slight risk for all but the north 1/4th of the state. Maybe later today. Another line of storms was expected to form in Mississippi and move into Alabama later today.
As of 9 am, that has not happened but we will continue to look westward.
