* Satellite pix in the last two hours show that he is getting a little better organized and an eye is beginning to reappear.

* Diameter of his eye is about 35 miles.

* 12 foot seas extend outward 210 miles to the NE, 250 miles SE, 150 miles SW and 180 miles to the NW. This afternoon, 34-foot waves were reported by a buoy north of the center.

* NHC projects Gustav inland by noon tomorrow (Monday)

* Mid level ridge over the East USA should steer him to the NW

* He may be within about 25 miles of some southerly wind sheer.

* Lots of mid to upper level dry air shows on the water vapor satellite south and SW of Gustav

* He has moved NW past the deep, warm loop current. So maybe he will not grow TOO much stronger!
