That cluster of storms down in South Alabama is still causing problems. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for SE Autauga County continues until at least 3 o’clock. It was moving south at 15 and could produce nickel-size hail or larger.
The NWS also continues a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 3:30 for Elmore County. It may have hail the size of quarters.
Some of these storms have produced hail reports as big as baseballs. The NWS is going to reissue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Montgomery County shortly. The big storm is expected to be out of Autauga County by the 3 o’clock expiration time for that county.
