POSITION REPORT ON LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS
….They extend from near Huntsville, down across NW Morgan County, and NW Winston County near Haleyville, to SE Marion County and South Lamar County. Moving east and SE.

….A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Madison County was expiring at 10:15.

….Some of the strongest thunderstorms in the line were moving into the west portions of Fayette and Winston Counties.

….NWS/Huntsville cancelled an earlier Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale Counties because the storms moved east of those areas. The watch continues, however, for Lawrence and Limestone Counties until 11:00.

….NWS/Huntsville posted a Special Weather Statement for Lawrence and Morgan Counties until 10:30 (a Significant Weather Alert).

….The EMA Manager in Lauderdale County reported Flash Flooding at Rogersville. The flooding was reported in many locations across the Rogersville community.

PROJECTION FOR BIRMINGHAM
….We still think the line of thunderstorms will reach the Birmingham metro area around midday, probably early this afternoon.

ELSEWHERE
….The same Tornado Watch that was posted for numerous counties in Central Alabama also affects a large part of Central and South Mississippi and a small part of East Louisiana.

….We cannot even count the number of Flood or Flash Flood Warnings that are in effect. Those type warnings cover a marked majority of North and West Louisiana, about 80% of Arkansas, NW Mississippi, West and Central Tennessee, virtually all of Kentucky, as well as numerous counties scattered across South Missouri, Illinois and Indiana.
