* Spectacular lightning reported in Inverness near the junction of I-459 and US-280.
* Patrick from Altadena reported at 1:36 p.m. in the Sand Piper subdivision, very heavy rain with 1/2 inch every 15 mintues. Pea-size hail lasted 15 minutes. He recorded a peak wind gust of 62 mph and lightning was extreme. The rain total in 20 minutes has been nearly an inch and at 1:39 p.m. the lightning had subsided, but the torrential rain continued.
