Showers and storms formed early this morning with an upper low rotating just to our west.
They are moving north northwest in the circulation around the low.
Someone asked on the blog last night about the weird storm motion yesterday. The storms were forming in the instability from the upper low’s cooler air aloft and then rotating northwest, west or southwest depending on your position to the low center.
It’s more of the same today across the area, with showers and storms likely through the day.
