That line of noisy thunderstorms that took its time pushing south through Alabama during the night is still with us.

It kept a lot of people up for several hours waiting for the storms to go on by.

At 5:20 this morning, the line of storms (still with lots of lightning) extended from north of Montgomery to south of Atlanta and all the way across South Carolina into North Carolina.

The storms did not trigger a warning as they pushed across Alabama.

We will have to deal with some more storms later today. The Storm Prediction Center has South Alabama under a slight risk today from about Birmingham southward.
