A cluster of slow-moving thunderstorms has been dumping heavy rain on the NE part of Trussville for at least 30 minutes.
The storms formed over West St. Clair and moved slowly west and then NW.
They are now lined up along I-59 from where 459 joins I-59 northeastward to the last Trussville exit. The storms are now falling apart as they continue toward the NW.
Can’t measure the rain yes because of the lightning danger but I estimate more than 1/2 inch in about 15 minutes.
Temperature has dropped from the 90s to 78.
Nice. What heat wave?
