After a lull this afternoon, new storms were developing late this afternoon over NE Alabama in two areas.

Several were located across North Jefferson County eastward to near Odenville in St. Clair County with a new one also moving across South Blount County.

However, the stronger ones were over NE Alabama, especially from near Guntersville toward Ft. Payne and Scottsboro. They were moving toward the ESE. Earlier today most of the storms were moving ENE.

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is thinking about issuing another watch for parts of East Tennessee, East Alabama into Western and Central Georgia.

We will keep watch.
