A relatively small but very noisy thunderstorm continues to move east near the Jefferson-St. Clair County line.

The main part of the thunderstorm was between Argo and Trussville at 8:15 pm. It was moving east (in no big hurry) generally near and just north of I-20. Moving generally toward Cook Springs and Pell City.

NWS, Birmingham issued a Special Weather Statement for this storm. They advise it could produce dime size hail and winds up to 40 mph. I can personally vouch that it is loaded with lightning.

NWS lists these locations in the path of the storm:

…..Trussville
…..Moody
…..Margaret
…..Branchville
…..Odenville
…..Chula Vista

To our west, a thunderstorm was approaching jasper and another moving east north of Fayette.
