A cluster of showers has been moving east across Extreme North Alabama this morning. They moved across Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin County.
At 7:15 AM, the main showers were over Lawrence, Morgan and Limestone County. Some official rain amounts through 7 o’clock:
0.17 at Muscle Shoals Airport
0.03 at Huntsville
0.12 at Decatur
That is not much but every little bit is welcome.
Based on radar estimates, parts North Larence and East Colbert County got some beneficial amounts.
In Marion County, 33/40 Skywatcher, Jim Higgins, mentioned an old song to cheer the rain. He said:
“Raindrops keep falling on my head”
He reports 0.03 so far.
