As we all know, the fall is typically the driest time of year for Alabama. As he head from October into November, the weather pattern begins to change and we begin to see more and more rainfall.

Below is a terrific graphic done by our friends at the National Weather Service showing rainfall totals across the entire state for the month of November. Typical Alabama weather shows a wide range in totals across the state.

The largest total I could find was over six inches in Pickens County in west-central Alabama. The lowest total was just over one inch in Monroe County in the southwestern part of the state. Overall, the majority of the state saw a range of two to five inches for November. We will expect the monthly totals to increase as we are heading into our wetter winter months.
