This is not a summary of all the showers and storms–just the main ones:
* Very strong thunderstorm over SW Jefferson County is finally diminishing but it had dumped very heavy rain. It is still pouring along the Jefferson/Tuscaloosa County line west of McCalla, Bucksville and Tannellhill State Park. No doubt some parts of SW Jefferson County got more than an inch out of this storm.
* Central Winston and North Cullman County. An east-west line of storms training across those areas. They extend all the way from the east edge of Marion County to near Double Springs and Cullman. Moving east, dumping very heavy lighting and those awesome lightning bolts.
* Calera to Rockford. Very heavy rain from Extreme South Shelby County across the NE edge of Chilton County into Coosa County. Raining over most of Coosa County.
* Marion/Franklin County NW Alabama. Lots of showers and thunderstorms.
* West Central Alabama: Showers and thunderstorms over Pickens, Greene, Sumter and Hale County. Locally heavy rain.
