“When the rains stopped the critters came out! I have been missing eggs from my laying hens for about 2 weeks now + one hen. I recently caught a groundhog in the pen, thinking that was where the eggs have been going. Well after running him off it started all over again a few days ago. I set this live trap yesterday afternoon and found Mr. Opossum (egg thief) in it this morning. I will set him free several miles away from here later on today, and hope he doesn’t find his way back. Sure was missing those fresh eggs. Grocery store eggs have been bombarded with butane gas in a chamber before shipping out, just can’t stand the thought of eating butane gas that has soaked in the pores of the egg shell.”
