NWS, Birmingham has issued a Small Stream Flood Advisory in Calhoun County until 10:15 am.
Mainly east of Highway 77
Radar indicates as much as 3 inches of rain has fallen since 6 am over part of that area.
The storms have spread out some and locally heavy rain also occurring over Extreme East St. Clair County and the south edge of Etowah County.
A separate smaller area of moderate to heavy showers has formed over Marshall County.
Storms are very lazy, moving very little. However. radar animations indicate a slow NNE movement.
